Information & Registration Policy 2007/ 2008

The Lancaster Musical Education Center does not charge any registration fees. Parents and/ or students only need to sign the studio policy agreement.
Pricing:
$60 month - 30 minute lesson
$115 month – 1 hour lesson ($5 discount)
Late Fee: $10 for any payment received after the first of the month.
Return check fee: $35.00
Payment Due Date:
Payments are due on or before the first of each month.
We currently accept cash or check for payment. Make checks payable to The Lancaster Musical Education Center.

Cancellations and Refunds:
The Lancaster Musical Education Center must be notified 24 hours in advance of a missed lesson.
There are no refunds if a student decides to terminate lessons before the end of a month.
Vacations:
Students are allowed to miss two lessons in a one year period without payment for those two lessons. All other missed time must be paid for.
Holidays:
The center is closed on the following holidays.
Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Break (Dec. 23 to Jan. 2)
Extended leave:
If there are any special needs to a students schedule due to school sporting events, school functions, or summer break please notify the instructor so we are able to work out a special schedule and payment arrangement.
The student’s time slot is not guaranteed to be held for the time the student is not taking lessons.
Weather:
In the event of LMEC being closed due to weather conditions, lessons will be made up. In the event of snow emergency and lessons cannot be rescheduled, credit will be given for the missed time.
Failure to show for lessons:
Students failing to show up for a lesson(s) without notification can result in loss of time slot and tuition paid for that lesson(s). In addition, if a student fails to show up before paying the next monthly tuition any previous missed lesson must be paid including late fees.
